We present organic coriander seed essential oil for cosmetics, obtained from the plant Coriandrum sativum. The product bears the name Coriander Seed organic essential oil for cosmetics in international trade practice. The product is offered as a liquid with a colourless or faintly yellowish appearance. The pale tone derives from the seeds, which release very few colouring ingredients during extraction, so the liquid remains almost transparent. The transparent liquid gives off a sharp scent. The scent unites a sweet base with spicy sharpness and a light citrus nuance, characteristic of the fully ripened fruits of this aromatic spice crop. The nuances come solely from plant sources, since the composition remains entirely organic. The organic purity excludes preservatives, and colourants do not enter the liquid either. The absence of supplements leaves the aromatic profile to be determined solely by the volatile substances contained in the ripe fruits. The fruits come from a plant that taxonomists assign to the Apiaceae family, which brings together the aromatic umbellifer crops of the European-Mediterranean range, from where the crop spreads throughout Europe. Storage

Store organic coriander seed essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the content decreases, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for cosmetic products, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for cosmetics from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Compliance with these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
